We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 as amended from time to time (the “Act”) when dealing with your personal information. We may collect the following information:

viii. to conduct research and statistical analysis (on an anonymised basis);

xi. to process and analyse candidate information (including remuneration and contract data) using AI-assisted tools for the purposes of internal benchmarking and improving
our recruitment services.
xii. to transcribe and summarise conversations or interviews conducted as part of the permanent recruitment process, using transcription and AI-assisted summarisation tools, for internal record-keeping and candidate management purposes.

4A. Use of AI assisted tools

Good Together may use AI-assisted tools (including third-party platforms such as Anthropic’s Claude, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT) to assist with the internal processing and analysis of candidate information. This may include remuneration benchmarking, contract comparison, recruitment market analysis, and summarisation of interview transcripts. The following safeguards apply:
(g) AI tools are used only for internal operational purposes and not to make automated decisions about candidates.

(i) We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party AI tools do not retain or use identifiable personal information beyond the scope of the task for which it is submitted.
(j) Candidates may request access to information about how their data has been processed, or request correction of any personal information held by us, by contacting .

4B. Transcription and AI Summarisation

Where Good Together conducts interviews or consultations with permanent placement candidates, we may use transcription tools to record and transcribe those conversations, and AI tools to generate summaries of transcripts for internal use. The following applies:
(k) Candidates will be informed at the commencement of any recorded conversation that transcription is taking place.
(l) Transcripts and AI-generated summaries are used solely for internal recruitment and candidate management purposes and are not shared with third parties except where required as part of the placement process (e.g. sharing relevant notes with a prospective employer with your consent).
(m) Transcripts and summaries are stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, in accordance with the Act.
(n) You may request access to or deletion of any transcript or summary relating to you by contacting .

5. Disclosing your information

We may disclose your personal information to:
xiii. another company within our group;
xiv. any business that supports our services and products, including any person that hosts or maintains any underlying IT system or data centre that we use to provide the Website or other services and products;
xv. a credit reference agency for the purpose of credit checking you (if necessary);
xvi. other third parties (for anonymised statistical information);
xvii. a person who can require us to supply your personal information (eg a regulatory authority);
xviii. any other person authorised by the Act or another law (eg a law enforcement agency); and

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information collected online via the Website. However, we are not responsible or liable for any unauthorised breaches of the Website or our records by third parties.

7. Accessing and correcting your information

Subject to certain grounds for refusal set out in the Act, you have the right to access your readily retrievable personal information that we hold and to request a correction to your personal information.
