If you are a doctor or Nurse Practitioner with a special interest and experience in urgent care, there’s a clinic in the vibrant city centre of Dunedin that is calling your name.  

We welcome applications from  suitably qualified Nurse Practitioners or Doctors with the following backgrounds:

• General Practice with UC or EM experience OR
• Urgent Care OR
• A MOSS in Urgent Care OR
• A MOSS in Emergency Medicine OR
• A MOSS in Orthopaedics

THE CLINIC AND THE TEAM 
Purpose built clinic in central Dunedin with a positive and proactive team who are willing to help and be involved in the care of all patients. The team includes Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Prescriber, Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants supported very capably by the admin team. 

LOCATION 
Even with a population 135,000, Dunedin is the hidden gem of NZ. Known as the 5 minute city, it doesn’t take long to get anywhere, including into nature. Its beautiful beaches and historical architecture really set Dunedin apart, and the vibrant student life courtesy of the University of Otago gives the town some edge and positivity. It’s known as the Edinburgh of the South for its strong Scottish history and cold winter temperatures, but the long hot summers last more than one day here! If you need to leave there are daily scheduled flights to other centres including Auckland International airport. Otherwise, ski fields, bike trails, hikes and vineyards – Dunedin has something for everyone. 

ABOUT YOU 

You will have:

• Current MCNZ or NCNZ registration OR be eligible to apply
• Recent and significant experience working in General Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine or Orthopaedics
• Innovation and pragmatism 
• Leadership skills and experience
